Hailey is a pretty girl who found herself in a local animal shelter. The shelter contacted GRRNT to help find her a new home. She is just settling into her foster home, and we will know more about her soon.

PROFILE

Hailey is a very sweet lovable dog, and she's going to make the perfect addition to any family. She needs some training but is an eager, fast learner. She house trained in one day after only 2 accidents, she learned very quickly to go outside for potty.  She is hyper and does jump on people, especially in the morning or first greetings, but she's working on not jumping. She will sit and give her paw. She always wants to be with people and touching someone.

Hailey was not crate trained when she arrived in her foster home, and did bark almost all night the first night, but by the second night only barked a little, now she will sleep there all night with no barking. In the morning she would rather have love and attention instead of going outside to potty, but throwing a ball will get her outside. After her morning excitement her favorite past time is taking naps on the bed. She loves playing with toys and chasing tennis balls. Tearing up said toys and balls is all part of the game too. Hailey leaves things like shoes socks, etc., alone, as long as she has plenty of toys she is happy with those. She will counter surf and take any food within reach, so she needs to be supervised in the kitchen. Hailey loves walks and is fine on a leash. She was nervous on her first car ride but foster mom feels sure she will get used to that too. She's not afraid of thunder storms.

Hailey wants to be petted a lot, and she wants to be right in the middle of anything you are doing, but if it's time to relax she's content to chew her toys and take a nap. She also loves to hand out doggy kisses especially to get you to pet her.

Hailey will do well in a home with kids, other dogs and cats. She is looking for a family with the time to continue her training, and give her lots of love and attention.
