Harlie is a 7 month old puppy who was transferred to GRRNT from another rescue to give her better exposure to adopters who understand Golden Retrievers. She is just settling into her foster home, and we will know more about her soon.

PROFILE

Harlie is an owner surrender who is a sweet 7 month old.  She gets along well with children and other dogs.  She loves to play tug of war with her foster siblings.  She is curious about cats but is still kind. Harlie was previously living with 3 much smaller dogs (3 year old female Dachshund, 4 year old male Dachshund/Heeler mix, and 4 month old male Terrier mix), and got along with them very well.

She is very good with Down and No and is getting better at coming when called. She does need some work on her manners, she likes to greet you on her two hind legs.  She's very smart and has a little Houdini in her.  She will find away to get past the gate especially if you are on the other side.  She doesn't enjoying getting into the car but once she's in she's a good passenger.

She loves to be near her foster family.  She's a snuggler, and can also be content to lay near you and play with her toys especially soft squeaky ones and antlers. She doesn't love her crate but with a little treat incentive she will walk in. Once she's comfortably in her crate she is content.  She has had no accidents in the house, and will go to the door to ask out. Harlie is a sweetheart, she LOVES everyone she meets, especially children. Harlie is looking for her forever family to share that love with.
