Friends of the Plano Public Library and the City of Plano's Animal Services teamed up to celebrate Memorial Day with dog lovers and their dogs. GRRNT had a booth at the event that was manned by four volunteers and their dogs. There was a constant stream of people and dogs who enjoyed coming and meeting our canine companions as well as hearing about what GRRNT does. They all loved looking through our beautiful scrapbook which contains pictures and writeups on all of the dogs available for adoption. Several adopted GRRNT dogs and their families came and visited and shared with us how their new family member was doing. This was a fun and worthwhile event that we plan to do again next year! .
