On November 13, 2005, GRRNT had a booth and a microchipping clinic at the ELPO Pet Fair, on the grounds of East Lake Veterinary Hospital in Dallas. Several foster dogs were in attendance and garnered a lot of attention. We were able to visit with people about golden retrievers and our group's mission. The microchip clinic, with the assistance of vet tech volunteers from ELPO, chipped a total of 21 dogs, with all proceeds going to GRRNT. GRRNT was also able to educate the public about the importance of microchipping their pets. Thanks to all our volunteers for this event and we hope to make it an annual tradition.
