The annual Fort Worth Parade of Lights was held Friday November 26 in downtown Fort Worth. Golden Retriever Rescue of North Texas volunteers built a wonderful float with a festively lighted and decorated dog house and white picket fence to use on the parade route. We had a large contingent of humans and Goldens participate in the parade. The evening was pleasant and warm and thousands cheered our wonderful four legged ambassadors as they rode and walked the parade route. Some of our Goldens even treated small children along the route with nice wet kisses and tail thumps. Our Goldens and the float were a big hit with the crowd and we hope to make this an annual event for GRRNT!
