Miss Mirabella is a 7 year old, pretty girl, who was turned over to GRRNT by her owner. She had some health issues we have now addressed, and she is ready to start looking for her forever family.

PROFILE

Mirabella was surrendered because her family was unable to afford her medical bills. Happily, GRRNT was able to address her medical needs, and we think she has moved past the problems.

She is a very happy girl that loves toys. She is not a pushy Golden with people, and is content playing by herself or just being near you for companionship. She currently lives with 4 Golden siblings but would prefer a home where she was an only dog or one of a pair. She loves to play bitey face with her youngest foster sibling. She has met some children and seemed to enjoy their company. She walks well on a leash. She has not spent any time crated in her foster family.

Mirabella has some quirks. She does not like metal dog bowls. She eats and drinks out of ceramic bowls. She has a really cute yip when she gets excited. Mirabella usually needs some help getting up into the car but loves going along. She regularly dines on patios with her foster family.

Mirabella can be prone to urinary tract infections. She had a mass cell tumor that was removed, and we got a good pathology report on it. The vet said that doesn't require further treatment, but her family should just be aware. She currently takes Proin to help with her urinary history. She is now in much better shape and cleared for adoption.

Mirabella’s ideal family would be someone home frequently, and has a dog door. With her past UTI issues, she will let herself out if the option is available. She is house trained, but it's just better for her to be able to go out when she needs to. A full time working family that is gone all day would not be the right schedule for her. Mirabella will need a family that understands she will not be a once a year to the vet type dog. They will need to be diligent and willing to take her to the vet if she is showing signs of another UTI.

Mirabella loves people and will make a great addition to a family wanting to enjoy a laid back Golden.
