Kya is a typical happy Golden Retriever puppy whose beautiful, light-colored coat is just starting to come in. She is about a year old, and like any golden puppy, she is very active and playful. She is not that big – she weighs a little over 50 lbs right now – but she is powerful for her size.

Kya’s energy level is extremely high, and like most puppies, she needs training. At this point, she jumps up on people, but a good training regimen and consistent discipline will be able to change that behavior pretty quickly. However, due to her young age and energy level, she should not be in a family with small children.

Kya’s ideal family will be an active family that has time to take her for walks/runs, play with her and train her. It would be good if she had another active dog she could play with – she loves other dogs – but this is not a requirement.

Kya, with her youth and exuberance, will bring lots of joy, companionship and love to the right family for a long, long time.
