Sugar is the perfect name for this sweet girl – she has the sweetest spirit you’ve ever seen. Her story is heartbreaking but all too common…her owner had to move to an assisted living facility that didn’t allow dogs. So at the age of 12, Sugar has found herself in a new home and without her long-time owner, but true to her name, she’s adjusting well.

She is absolutely no trouble, and has no bad habits at all. She’s 100% housetrained, loves cats, dogs, and people, and just wants to be near you. She has weakened hips typical for her age but is still frisky and loves short walks. It just takes her a couple of tries to get out of her bed in the morning and she takes the stairs slowly and carefully.
