I bet you 100 strokes that I have the softest coat you have ever felt! Why not take a gamble on me?
I am very well behaved and although I’m a little hard of hearing, I function just fine. I already know some basic commands such as sit and shake. I don’t bark, I just make a little loving growl sound to let you know I want your attention. I don’t have much interest in your belongings, maybe just a stray sock or two, but I know they are not mine so I won’t pay much attention to them. I enjoy playing with my toys but it’s you I’d prefer to play with. I stay off the furniture and don’t try to graze the countertops for any items accidently left out. I am house trained and enjoy riding in a car. I can swiftly get in the car, but getting me out is a different story (I need some coaxing). I am very good on a leash and love long walks. What more could you ask for? I’m practically perfect!
I can sometimes be a little timid and nervous at times but I’m getting better with time. At my foster home, we have this very bizarre kitchen floor. It is laminate and black/white checkered. It is slick and I see my reflection which makes me apprehensive. To cope, I will exit the kitchen by backing up (yes, backside first). It makes my foster parents laugh every time.
At my current home, I don’t have any foster siblings to keep me company but when I run into a fellow furry friend, I’m very nice to them. I am a pretty easy going girl and know how to play nice. But like I said before, I do get nervous sometimes so I would do best in a home with no small children. It’s not that I don’t like them, but I have the tendency to move really quickly if something startles me and in doing so, I might knock them over.
I love having other people around and having your attention is the greatest gift in the world. Take a chance on me; I just might be the girl for you!
