Malyn is a young 4 year-old who is very willing to please, and enthusiastic about life and her humans.

She is housebroken and knows some basic commands, like “Sit" and "Come," but she needs to work on “Stay”. She gets excited when you return home and likes to jump so she can give you kisses and hold your hand. Although she’s just basically enthusiastic, jumping isn’t always acceptable behavior, so she will need some additional training and reinforcement of good manners.

Malyn is very affectionate and loves to cuddle and sleep with her humans. She prefers to be the center of your attention… she thinks that you should pet her before, during and after you pet anyone else. She likes to go for car rides and play with tennis balls. She also enjoys a good belly rub.

Because she likes so much attention, she may do better as an only dog. We don't think she was around cats before because she was afraid of them at first, but now she is getting used to them and wants to play with them.

If you’re home a lot and want a companion who will hang on your every word and follow you around, looking for a hug, a cuddle or both, Malyn will be right there for you.
