Norma Jean - #10-112
Female - 1 year
Norma Jean lives up to her name – a sensitive, young blonde who is ready to blossom into a real beauty.
Norma Jean came to us as a stray from Arlington. Despite having lost her first family, she is a smart, playful girl who is housebroken and responds well to commands. In just one week she learned to sit and offer her paw at mealtime.
She is sensitive to being disciplined when she does something she shouldn’t (like taking slippers that are not hers). If you scold her, she will go into the kitchen and lay on the floor there until you come and find her - she understands that she did something wrong but wants reassurance that you still love her. Overall, she’s very well-behaved; she doesn’t counter surf, beg for food, get on the furniture or chew books/paper.
She loves riding in the car, either in the back, where she’ll stretch out and take a nap, or in the front as your co-pilot. She also gets a kick out of being outside in the yard, watching the squirrels in the trees.
Because she is fairly young, we think Norma Jean would be happiest in a family with another dog, so she will have a playmate and buddy.
Are you ready for a sweet, soulful blonde in your life?
