Cody - #11-112
Male - 5 years
Meet Cody, a sweet five year old golden. He is “potty trained” and has not had any issues since arriving at his foster home. Cody enjoys staying close by his foster mom and his foster sisters, “the golden girls”. He has created his own distinctive game we call “Bop ( happy nose bumping). Cody is learning how to sit, stay, stay, come and no jumping. In the short time he’s been fostered, he’s made noticeable progress. He is also a polite walker, choosing to always remain on your left side.
Cody has a special “woo woo” bark to announce his pleasure at both breakfast and dinner. He has been introduced to raw veggies and even loves citrus fruit. However, holiday cookies, when left out uncovered, have been known to entice him to counter surf.
Although Cody has slight cataracts, they do not seem to impede his daily activities. He is able to target his attention on the family cats and enjoys playing the stalk and chase game. The cats do not welcome his cheerful attention, so it would be best if Cody’s forever home didn’t have cats.
Cody is a very sweet, laid back boy who is well behaved in the house. He would be a wonderful buddy for another even tempered dog. He really enjoys snuggling and attention and rewards you with contented snuffles. He is also great with children, but it’s probably best if they were over the age of six.
