Cynder - #11-092
Female - 7 years
Cynder is a sweet-natured, lively 7 year old female Golden Retriever. Since being picked up as a stray this summer, she has overcome several medical issues and is now well on the road to recovery. Although she has arthritis in her hips, her daily medication makes all the difference in the world. Cynder can easily hop onto the couch to share cuddles. She loves to be near her foster parents and is a devoted companion. Occasionally, she will bark to let you know she wants some attention and just the sight of a one of her humans will set off a round of enthusiastic tail wagging. Cynder is impossible to resist when she sets her head gently on your lap so she can get a little extra love.
Cynder has almost no bad habits. She is completely housebroken, does not counter-surf, dig, chew, or jump on people. She is definitely an inside dog and can be left alone for hours at a time. She would be a perfect fit in a home where family members are at work or school full-time. Her golden smile and feathered tail wag will welcome you each time you return.
Usually she is a laid back girl, but Cynder has shown some territorial tendencies when other dogs have visited her foster home. She actually pays very little attention to her golden foster sister and appears to have no interest at all in cats. She would be perfectly happy as your one and only, best girl.
We don’t know what kind of life Cynder experienced before coming to GRRNT. However, she now has a second chance to be a loving member of a forever family. If you are hoping to find a gentle natured and affectionate companion, please come meet Cynder.
