Kaci is a mature golden who was released by her owner only because she could no longer afford to take care of her beloved friend.

This gentle dog is a sweet and loving girl who gets along well with other dogs, both in her foster home and met while walking. However, due to her age, Kaci would be best suited for a peaceful family without young children or energetic dogs. Cats, she simply ignores.

One of the advantages of an older golden is the hearing loss which accompanies age allows them to be completely oblivious to thunder storms! Rain, thunder, loud noises - none of these bother Kaci in the least! She may not always hear you call her, but when she sees the leash in your hand, her joy is evident. She is a lady like walking companion and greets each walk as a new adventure. She also rides well in a car.

Kaci’s former owner indulged her desire to be close by letting her lay on the couch. It appears as if her most joyous moments are spent lying on the couch snuggled beside her foster mom. She respects that the bed is off limits and has made no attempt to jump up on it. Of course this well mannered girl is completely housebroken and has no obedience issues what so ever.

At this time in her life, Kaci is in need of a loving companion who will shower her with the attention and care she deserves.
