Kaden - #11-125
Male - 10 months

HI! I’m Kaden! Life has really gotten good since GRRNT got me out of the dog pound. I get to play, chase balls, act silly, run around a nice yard and the most fun wrestle and chase with another puppy all day!

I’m really glad I was in my foster home around Christmas, cause foster mom saw how much my back legs were hurting and took me to the doctor lady to find out what was wrong. The doctor said my hips were all wrong and needed to be fixed. Wow, that was not fun! I fell asleep at the doctor’s office and woke up with a big owie on my hip, TWICE! But then after a few weeks I didn’t hurt anymore and my hips work a lot better than before.

Have you ever had an itchy mosquito bite? Well, used to be I felt like I had mosquito bites all over my body all the time. It itched so bad I had to chew and scratch everywhere every second. My doctor said I have allergies and she ran some tests and found out my skin doesn’t like mold, or grass or weeds! But she’s a really smart doctor and she found some medicine to give me that makes me not itch anymore, and now she’s also going to start giving me some shots so my skin will stop getting all irritated. Oh and I get to eat Venison! I get really yummy food that comes from the doctor, it has potatoes and venison in it and my doctor says it helps me not itch too. It sure does taste good! Did you know they shaved a lot of my fur off when I fell asleep at the doctor’s place? My pictures are a little embarrassing cause I’m kinda naked on both hips, but when my skin gets better I think my fur will grow back too.

So things are really looking up for me. There are so many fun things I get to do, like play with the other dogs, chew on dog bones, tear up toys and pull stuffing out of them. For some reason foster mom always takes those away just when I’m really having fun. She laughs at me most of the time, except when I sneak and get her fuzzy house shoes. She says I can’t have those, but I sure do like them. Oh, and I heard her say I’m really smart because I learned really fast to ask to go outside to potty. I learned sit and stay and shake. I learned to be polite and wait for my food to be put down, and to sit at the door and wait to be invited inside, and foster mom says I’m awesome walking on a leash too.

So the rescue, and the doctor lady, and my foster mom have taken really good care of me, and now they say I’m ready to find my forever home. I hope I get a forever family with another dog. I really love having a four legged playmate, and since I’m making my wish list, it would be so wonderful if one of my forever parents could be around most of the day. My doctor lady said she would tell my forever family what medicine to give me so I won’t itch so bad and will be comfortable. I may not be able to be your jogging partner, and I guess I won’t get to do agility contests cause of my hips, but I can chase balls, play tag and wrestle with my dog friends, and I can love you lots if you let me.

I’m ready...I’m smiling...my tail’s wagging in anticipation...are you my forever family?

Want to adopt me?
