Levi - #11-143
Male - 4 years

Handsome Levi was released to GRRNT from a local shelter. His loving attitude was apparent the moment we met him. His foster family reports that he is great with other dogs, athletic and intelligent. His hunting instinct kicks in when he happens upon a kitty so he should not be around cats.

Levi loves to play and he will need consistent, daily exercise well beyond a leisurely walk around the block. He is an amazing runner and an enthusiastic participant in any game of fetch. He delights in the days when his foster family journeys to Moss Park. There, he is off leash and able to flush rabbits and jog the trails.

Currently, Levi’s activities have been somewhat curtailed as he undergoes treatment for heartworm. The vet says that he is a little underweight, but is confident that he will quickly reach his ideal weight. In the house, Levi is very well behaved and does not require crating. However, when he gets really excited, Levi will jump up. His foster mom is helping him learn that this is not a good behavior, but more practice will be necessary. Although Levi loves everybody, he would do best in a family with older children.

Levi is an all around, good natured and loving golden. He is a special prize and whomever he picks as his forever family will have the gift of a lifetime!
