Tracker was found as a stray by some kind people who attempted to find his owners without success.  He is a very loving and friendly guy.  He is a great goofy boy and everyone likes him, except the cats who he won’t leave alone.  He doesn’t seem to have any ill intent, but they don’t know that and they have decided the best course of action is to stay out of his sight. Tracker will do best in a no cat home. He knows basic commands, is already crate trained and house trained, and he is good in the car.  He gets along with his canine foster sibling, and walks well on leash.

Tracker has some health issues that our vet's are monitoring. He will not be available for adoption until we can determine what his medical needs are and have addressed them.

PROFILE

Tracker is a great goofy guy. Everyone likes him, he is a very loving and friendly guy. He knows basic commands, he is crate trained and house trained, and he is good in the car. His foster dad said Tracker is the easiest dog he's ever bathed, and he really enjoyed his bath.  He gets along well with his canine foster sibling, but he is more interested in the cats than they are comfortable with, so he will do best in a no cat home.

Tracker is a lovable, enthusiastic boy.  He loves to help in the kitchen and will follow you around as likes to be in the room with his person or family unless there is a noise out front he needs to investigate or a cat that might be hiding in the house.  He gets along well with his foster sister, a german short-haired pointer.  He is house and crate trained, no accidents in his whole time with us.  He likes to go outside and do his business and then come back inside.  He could not be left out for extended periods of time, as he will just bark to come back in after a minute or two. He likes to walk and will  need just a little one on one training to be really good on the leash.  He can sit and stay but both are a bit hard when he is excited.  If you aren’t watching he might hop up and relax on your bed or sofa.  He loves to be brushed.  He likes to put his head in your lap and be petted.  Basically he just wants to part of a family or bond with a special person and be his or her best buddy.
