Christmas Eve Blessings!
Frost is one of Christmas's puppies. Christie is a young female who was a stray, and employees at a business were feeding her, then they discovered she had puppies. The employees contacted authorities and the little family was taken to the shelter where GRRNT was able to pick them up. The puppies are about 2-3 weeks old, their eyes have just opened, so they will need their mama for several more weeks. Christie and her puppies will not be ready for adoption until the puppies are weaned and they have all received the vet care they need.
Frost is an awesome puppy! Her looks, while always adorable, change a lot. She has gotten a lot darker even though it doesn't really show in her pictures. She also has a terrific personality. She decided people are the best! She gets so excited when people come toward her that her tail starts to go wild and she dances around on her paws unable to be still. She likes to snuggle when she gets sleepy but prefers to play and be petted a lot.
Frost has changed her look! Where she was once a white puppy with some black patches she now has a "blue" look and is gorgeous! She is very active and playful and still loves to be around people. In fact, when she is put away in her pen with her brother for a nap or at bedtime, if she is not ready she will be very vocal and let the whole house know that she is not happy! She has been enjoying being outside during the recent mild whether and learning to potty outside, but it is a process as she is only 7 weeks old at this point (1/27). At her last vet appointment she received her first set of puppy shots and weighed in at 10.1 pounds. Frost is looking for her forever home and it would be ideal if they would play with her often and let her sleep close by. She has been playing with the dogs that live with her foster family and shehopes her new family has another playful dog that would like a playmate. She will also need someone home the majority of the time such as a stay at home mom or dad or people working from home while she is such a busy, growing girl.
