Brianna is an owner surrender to GRRNT. Her foster family is getting to know her, and will be able to tell us all about her soon.

PROFILE

Brianna adjusted quickly to her foster home in just a week and a half, and it has been a lot of fun to have her around.

Brianna is a very sweet petite girl, weighing 50 lbs.  She likes to cuddle and loves to be in the center of attention.  Brianna believes she is a lap dog. She is potty trained and crate trained.  She is still learning what a puppy is supposed to learn such as not chew on her foster brother’s bed even if she is not getting attention or she gets bored. She responds well to a ‘No’ command so she would stop immediately if we say ‘No’ when she was chewing something she was not supposed to chew on.

Brianna is fascinated with picking our slipper up if it is left on the floor and will just move it to somewhere else. She just walks away with it slowly, so if you catch her with your slipper in her mouth and say ‘No’, she will make a u-turn and give it back to you.  If your slipper or shoe is missing, it is very likely to be on the bed or sofa.  She does not chew or hide it but it looks like she just enjoys relocating it.

Brianna gets along with other dogs and good with kids, but we have not seen her around cats.  She is very playful and active and she can enjoy a quiet time as well. Brianna enjoys going for a walk. It seemed she was not used to walking on a leash; however, she learned it quickly and we are so impressed she walks well on a leash now with not much pulling.  When I ran with her a few times, she did pretty well and I think she can be a good running partner, too.

When meeting people, Brianna sits gently just in front of you and will wait for a hug. She is so adorable.
